The hunt will start early in the morning (7.00h). Aftera breakfast, we will drive to the hunting area, about35 minutes from the hotel.

It is a mountain hunt in which the hunter and guidessearch, with the aid of binoculars and monocular fora suitable trophy according to the clients demands. The stalking should then be carried out in complete silence, with attention to the recommendations of the guide, who will demonstrate his knowledge and know-how in the terrain.

Shooting distances may be in the range of 150 – 250 meters. Recommended calibres for this hunt are 300 WM, 338 WM and 270 Watherby. In most cases you will have time to get a confortable rest forshooting, but sometimes you must be able to manage quicker shots.

In normal weather conditions we score a 100% of success in our hunts.

Tourism in the Region of Murcia

The sun shines for more than 3,000 hours per year and the shores are bathed by the warm waters of two seas. In fact, on these shores known as the Costa Calida or Warm Coast you can find long beaches and tiny coves with many health, sport and leisure options. One of the more attractive areas is La Manga del Mar Menor, a place where you can relax while enjoying the sea and the activities at the Nautical Resort. Furthermore, you will come across extensive white beaches such as those of San Pedro del Pinatar; half wild beaches like those of Cartagena, curious landscapes like those of Mazarron or fishing towns such as Aguilas.

The mild climate allows you to play golf almost all year round. Close to two of the main cities, Murcia and Cartagena, there are many golf clubs where you can enjoy your favourite sport.

castillo de lorca

As a result of its intense historical tradition, with the superposition of cultures, as a frontier land, as a passage between the Plateau and the Andalusian lands, and its nature as a strategic Mediterranean enclave, the heritage of the Region of Murcia holds a multitude of testimonies of the past making it a meeting point between tradition and the concern for bringing it ever more into the viewpoint of the visitor. The numerous vestiges and archaeological sites tell us of paintings under the cover of caves, from the Iberian period, of the splendour of the Roman Empire and its town planning and its preference for theatrical events, of Visigoth cities, Arab medinas, castles, watch towers, temples and Christian churches, civil and military buildings…

All of this cultural, historic, artistic and archaeological heritage is demonstrated in the diversity of opportunities to be seen and admired, through the thematic centres of the ample network of museums in the region, located in those places where these monuments were erected for use. The Region of Murcia has become a tightly woven fabric where the past is reflected, to be observed, in the form of palpable vestiges of this past made present.

Región de Murcia tourism

Murcia, the capital of the Autonomous Region, on the shores of the river Segura, Cartagena, port city on the Mediterranean. Lorca, the City of the Hundred Shields, and Caravaca, the Holy City, provide the visitor with plenty of reasons to choose this destination for their holidays or to visit any time of year.

Lorca and it’s Aoudad sheep is a must! Nice and difficult animal to hunt. Very well camouflaged and quick to run. This time it was female hunt. Local guides and Antonio from Iberhunting made it possible.

Thanks for another good hunting trip!
